If you’re an iPod owner then you don’t need me to tell you how fabulously versatile it is. Great for movies, music and games, this travel-ready companion offers hours of entertainment with the click of a button. My iPod stays in its lightweight and flexible arm band that allows me to strap it on before I go for a run. And isn’t it nice not to have to mess with bulky headphones. Two little circles that fit perfectly into your ear is all you need to produce a heavy wave of sound.

Because I love my iPod so much, my family took a hint and looked into getting me one of the many awesome accessories compatible with its technology. And when Christmas finally arrived, I tore open my package to reveal a Memorex iPod docking station. As I jumped up and down with glee, I wondered where in my apartment I’d put it. It didn’t take me long to realize that my bathroom was the perfect option. Who needs a shower radio when you have a system powerful enough to fill your entire house with sound? Not to mention the music will be coming from your individualized playlist.

A few weeks ago, I drove with a friend to Mt. Rainier National Park. As we progressed along the rural highway that leads into the park, I began to notice a number of physical changes that let me know we were getting closer to the mountain. First of all, the altitude increased noticeably, causing my ears to pop. When we rolled down the windows, we could feel the air cooling down around us.

Approaching the summit, we got out to snap a few photos. The lighting was perfect as it was nearing dusk and the soft rays of sunlight gave the scenery a warm glow. Then we heard a rustling a few yards away in the undergrowth. Turning around quickly, I saw a pair of elk venture out into the road. With my digital camera in one hand, I prepared to sneak a few candid photos. In my experience, you can never take too many shots with  Polaroid digital cameras. The more pictures you take, the more will be worthy of framing in the end.

The PSP has some great ported games that might be first time experiences for many players. For example, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, was a smash hit on the PlayStation and Sega Saturn in the mid 1990s, and was the title that shaped the franchise as it moved forward.  The Sega Saturn version, not released in the U.S., was ported to the PSP along with several new features making for an awesome gaming experience.  In addition to Castlevania: SOTN, the PSP is the first system to have a U.S. release of the original Star Ocean game that was for the Japanese SNES, the Super Famicom.  The Star Ocean series has since appeared in the U.S. and has been quite popular, but now fans are able to play the original without needing to first read Japanese.

You can find old-school PSP games at awesome prices, as well as exciting new titles and UMD movies.

Raising children is undoubtedly difficult. Especially if you’re going on a family trip and your kids are in the back seat fighting, it can be hard to arrive at your destination still a happy, functioning family unit. After all, there has to be some reason the phrase, “I’ll turn this car around,” has become as commonplace as it has. It’s obviously a threat that’s often escaped the lips of many irritated moms and dads at the helm of the family car.

But luckily for parents there are some amazing technological devices that can help keep even the most impatient kids amused on those long car rides. Invest in a Philips portable DVD player, and the back seat of your car will truly be transformed into a kind of movie theater. Instead of having the back of your head to stare at for six hours, they can simply watch their favorite movie or pop in a DVD of their favorite TV show and take in a few episodes. And with the addition of headphones, they can watch whatever cartoon or show they want without everyone in the car having to listen as well

I can’t read people’s minds, but I can sure tell a lot about them by their pictures. All I have to do is stare at a photograph for a while and I can usually guess what the person in it is thinking. My grandmother had the same gift and she always told me it was special.

To best judge a person’s feelings from a picture, the photograph has to be of the best quality. I like to use my dependable Casio Exilim camera. This trusty little camera takes the clearest pictures that I have ever seen. In fact, I don’t go anywhere without it!

The desire for a Portable LCD TV with a DVD player, is that they can be taken almost anywhere. They are very easy to carry. Though a very simple title in concept, Wii Sports makes use of the Nintendo Wii’s unique controller, setting it far apart from other sports games. Wii Sports features games like Boxing, Bowling, Baseball, and Tennis, and through using the controller as various pieces of equipment like a bowling ball or a tennis racquet, the player controls the avatar on the screen. You can challenge your friends to a tennis match, swinging the controller back and forth as the ball comes towards you, or you can play a baseball game where one player controls the pitcher, and the other the batter. The Wii’s motion sensitive controller makes for a fun experience for all.

If you don’t have a Wii yet, purchase a Wii Fit Plus blue bundle, which will include Wii Sports, another game and extra controllers. Whether playing with their children or amongst themselves, the Wii is truly fun intended for all ages.

I recently got my parents a new digital camera. They had one from years ago. That one was really hard for them to learn all the different features. Today digital cameras are getting so easy to use. And they love it. This Olympus Digital Camera has all the technology  like movie recording with sound and in-camera Creative Art Filters to have a great time taking photos and sharing them with their friends.

It automatically tracks unpredictable, fast-moving subjects like kids and pets. We have a very large family, this camera tracks up to 12 faces and automatically focuses and optimizes exposure for sharp, brilliant portrait pictures. As my parents age, it gets so hard to find something they need and enjoy. They did appreciate this gift.

I’ve always been drawn toward recreational pursuits that got me up and moving. Sitting around in a basement playing videogames was never my idea of a good time, and that’s especially true now that I work on a computer for eight hours a day. That’s why I was initially drawn to geocaching, an activity that invites treasure hunters to use their wits and a GPS receiver, such as a Cobra GPS, to find a hidden object.

In most cases, the object will be a box – it may be hidden, partly obscured or located in plain sight in an unexpected spot. The box might contain a logbook for treasure hunters to sign as proof that they were skilled enough to locate it. Participants rely on a limited set of clues – usually a combination of geographic coordinates and mysterious hints – to complete their task.
